House to vote on legislation creating grant program for Open RAN technologies

The House is expected to vote today on legislation establishing a grant program to promote the development of Open Radio Access Networks through a Commerce Department initiative.

The National Information and Telecommunications Administration will lead the program, which will provide $750 million in grants over a 10-year period.
