House version of ‘competition act’ includes supply chain, other cyber provisions

House Democrats have unveiled their version of “competition and innovation” legislation aimed at fending off technology challenges from China, with an eye toward quickly passing the bill next week and getting into conference with the Senate, which passed a version last year replete with cybersecurity elements.
