House panel emphasizes addressing most critical pieces of open source code when looking for vulnerabilities

Key lawmakers from the House Science Committee agreed Wednesday that it can be difficult to determine how Congress can help industry to secure open source software given a vast environment that makes it hard to detect vulnerabilities.
