House panel to discuss creation of DOT advisory group on automotive cybersecurity

A House Energy and Commerce subcommittee today will review draft legislation that would establish a public-private advisory council within the Transportation Department to develop recommendations on cybersecurity for testing, deployment, and updating of self-driving automobiles.
