House Oversight draft bill orders CISA to develop federal policies for penetration testing, threat hunting

House Oversight leaders are proposing several reforms to enhance the federal government’s cybersecurity posture by expanding CISA’s responsibilities through a program for ongoing threat hunting on agency networks and the development of OMB guidances on penetration testing and mobile device security.
