House Homeland Security reviews state, local cyber attacks in updated ‘snapshot’ report

The House Homeland Security Committee dives into cyber incidents at the state and local levels in an updated "snapshot" report providing details on the current cyber landscape, sector-specific impacts and threat actor activities.

“State, local, tribal, and territorial governments often lack the dedicated resources and technical expertise needed to defend their networks, leaving them vulnerable to cyber threat actors,” according to an Oct. 31 release from the committee on the snapshot.
