House Homeland Security approves cyber bills on pipelines, vulnerability disclosure, aid to state and locals

The House Homeland Security Committee today passed a handful of bipartisan cybersecurity bills, including a measure re-affirming the roles of the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the Transportation Security Administration on pipeline security.

The committee also passed legislation creating a grant program for state and local governments, a bill on vulnerability detection and mitigation, and one establishing a National Cyber Exercise Program at CISA.
