House Homeland leaders praise telecom security panel recommendations around regulatory harmonization

Recommendations from the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee’s latest report on regulatory harmonization are generating a positive response from House Homeland Security leaders.

The NSTAC approved on Tuesday the “Strategy for Increasing Trust in the Information and Communications Technology and Services Ecosystem.” It takes a comprehensive look at three previous NSTAC reports developed to address specific components of the strategy and adds in new details on how harmonization could work in practice.
