House Energy and Commerce panel considers incentives as part of response to shore up industry ransomware defenses

The House Energy and Commerce Committee is considering new options to help businesses mitigate or deter ransomware attacks, including incentives for best practices adoption, and heard from industry leaders at hearing to determine what legislative proposals could make a significant difference.
