House defense spending bill calls on Pentagon to set cyber 'deterrence' posture

The House is expected to vote today on a defense spending authorization bill as well as a number of last-minute amendments, including a proposal for the Pentagon to establish a cyber “deterrence” policy, among several other cyber-related provisions.
