House cyber caucus member Lieu urges focus on cybersecurity of mobile devices

Rep Ted Lieu (D-CA), a member of the Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus, is calling on policymakers and industry to place a greater focus on the cybersecurity of mobile devices amid what he calls a lack of current protections against mobile malware.

Lieu said at a congressional briefing on mobile security on Thursday indicated that the timing isn't yet right for legislation on the issue but said, “We’re trying to get more attention on mobile security.”
