House appropriators would require CISA plan for securing industrial control systems

The House Appropriations Committee is slated to approve legislation today that would boost DHS funding by more than $2 billion, to a total of $63.8 billion, while requiring the new Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to develop a comprehensive plan for securing industrial control systems within six months, among other policy recommendations.
