House appropriators consider fiscal 2025 bills with NIST budget cuts, Energy Dept. funding for cyber

The House Appropriations Committee is marking up three bills for the fiscal 2025 budget cycle today, featuring provisions to reduce the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s technical research budget, while matching spending from fiscal 2024 to support the Energy Department’s cyber office.
