HITRUST urges Pentagon officials to promote CMMC reciprocity in defense policy bill

HITRUST, a data standards and cyber certification organization, wants the House Armed Services Committee to consider addressing reciprocity between the Pentagon’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program and other cyber frameworks, and has asked Defense Department officials to raise the issue before the annual defense policy bill is marked up Wednesday in the panel.
