Government Accountability Office directs ONCD to establish performance measures for evaluating national cyber strategy implementation plan

The Office of the National Cyber Director should take an “outcome-based” approach to evaluating its progress in achieving objectives set forth in President Biden’s national cyber strategy, according to a new Government Accountability Office report.

The GAO report evaluates ONCD’s implementation plan for the strategy and offers recommendations to ensure the plan “can be implemented consistently and effectively government-wide.”
