GAO report details cybersecurity challenges accompanying rollout of 5G networks

The Government Accountability Office in a new report offers policymakers a roadmap though the security and other challenges related to fifth-generation telecom networks, with a series of options ranging from new regulation to a “status quo” approach that eschews government “intervention.”
