Foundation for Defense of Democracies urges bolstering EPA’s resources, focus on water cybersecurity

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency needs more resources and authority, plus assistance from CISA, to drive critical improvements in the water sector’s cybersecurity, according to a new report from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

“The cybersecurity of the water sector is a weak link in U.S. national infrastructure, imperiling health and human safety, national security, and economic stability,” according to the report by FDD’s Mark Montgomery and Trevor Logan, which was released today.
