Former House intelligence chairman Rogers says email phishing is 'next big threat vector'

Mike Rogers, the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said cyber criminals with increasing support from nation-states are becoming more sophisticated in designing email phishing attacks that will make it almost impossible to defend against malware infections.

“They will get in,” Rogers said at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's cybersecurity summit on Wednesday, in encouraging business leaders to consider paying ransoms to free up systems held hostage by a denial of service attack.
