Former FCC security chief on botnet report: Commission should play central role

The Trump administration's new report on botnets is a good first step but the follow-on strategic approach to this growing threat to the internet should include a central role for the Federal Communications Commission, according to retired Rear Adm. David Simpson, the FCC security chief under former Chairman Tom Wheeler.
