Former DHS official Spaulding offers lawyers a 'framework' for mitigating cyber threats

NEW YORK -- Former Department of Homeland Security Under Secretary Suzanne Spaulding told lawyers here that they are “such an important part of getting it right” in addressing the nation's cybersecurity because of the role they play “in advising your clients” and “as businesses and as targets of our cyber attacks,” in offering a “framework” to help law firms manage their cyber risks.
