Former chair Wheeler: FCC cyber reversals under Pai opened door to 5G nationalization idea

Former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler says a “mind-boggling” National Security Council proposal to nationalize next-generation “5G” wireless networks flowed directly from the current FCC leadership's decision to abandon cybersecurity initiatives launched under the previous administration.
