Financial regulator cites commitment to industry-driven cyber approaches

Federal financial regulators are committed to aligning their efforts with voluntary tools like the NIST framework of cybersecurity standards, according to a source in a key regulatory agency, who said ongoing government harmonization and streamlining activities will have tangible positive results for the financial sector.
