FERC chair Glick calls for mandatory pipeline security rules; industry group details work on cyber

FERC Chairman Richard Glick and Commissioner Allison Clements are calling for new cybersecurity regulation for pipelines in the aftermath of the Colonial Pipeline hack, while the American Petroleum Institute is pointing to cyber efforts already underway in the sector and urging regulators to hold off.
