FERC approves revisions to cybersecurity regulations for power plants

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved revisions to cybersecurity standards for power plants developed by the electric utility industry, while backing off an earlier proposal to clarify the definition for the type of data to be protected by the security controls.
