Federal spending package for fiscal 2023 clears House, heads to president for signature

An omnibus fiscal 2023 appropriations package carrying CISA, Defense Department and other cyber funding has cleared the House and now heads to President Biden for his signature.

The House approved the omnibus bill today on a 225-201-1 vote, wrapping up the work of the 117th Congress. The measure passed the Senate by a 68-29 vote on Thursday and funds the federal government through Sept. 30, 2023.
