Federal response to Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack focuses on info-sharing, monitoring supply issues

The White House is actively monitoring the ransomware attack that led to Colonial Pipeline’s system-wide disruption on Friday night, with a focus on a “whole of government effort” including creation of an interagency team and sharing information about the attack with energy sector partners.
