Federal health-sector regulator rebrands, repositions its cybersecurity center

The Department of Health and Human Services has rebranded its cybersecurity center to distinguish it in the department's efforts to defend the healthcare sector's information technology infrastructure, an HHS spokesperson said, explaining it will serve as an information clearinghouse and nerve center for healthcare stakeholders and the federal government to coordinate and prepare for cybersecurity threats.
