FDA and MITRE update guidance on medical device security partnerships

The Food and Drug Administration and the MITRE Corporation have released an updated version of their “Medical Device Cybersecurity Regional Incident Preparedness and Response Playbook,” which provides guidance for health organizations on using regional collaboration to address device security threats.

The updated playbook was published Tuesday and updates the original document created by FDA and MITRE in 2018.
