FCC to vote on next steps in equipment authorization process, foreign ownership disclosure requirements

The Federal Communications Commission is expected at a May meeting to finalize requirements for testing certification bodies, as part of the equipment authorization process to address national security concerns, and vote on gathering feedback to set new foreign ownership disclosure rules to get an overview of current threats.
