FCC schedules March vote to establish requirements for Internet of Things cyber labeling program

The Federal Communications Commission will vote on March 14 to establish a cyber labeling program for Internet of Things products, according to an agency announcement detailing high-level parameters for what to expect in the upcoming rulemaking.

The Wednesday news release says the voluntary label will be for “wireless consumer Internet of Things (‘IoT’) products.”
