FCC reveals plans for Internet of Things labeling program including establishing lead administrator, focus on products

The Federal Communications Commission outlines its full plans to stand up a cyber labeling program for wireless consumer Internet of Things products, in a draft report and order circulated ahead of the agency’s March monthly meeting.

“The Order would establish a voluntary IoT cybersecurity labeling program based on the criteria developed by the National Institute for Standards and Technology.
