FCC extends filling window for reimbursement applications under Huawei rip-and-replace program

The Federal Communications Commission is extending the filling window for rural telecoms to submit reimbursement applications outlining their plans to rip-and-replace equipment and services from Huawei and ZTE.

The new Jan. 28 deadline provides organizations that receive support from the FCC’s Universal Service Fund two additional weeks to finish and submit their paperwork through the FCC Form 5640 Application Request for Funding Allocation.
