FCC chief Pai notes supply-chain security proposal in announcing 5G initiatives

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai today said work continues on a proposal to address cyber threats to telecom supply-chain security through the FCC's “Universal Service Fund,” as he announced new initiatives designed to bolster the rollout of next-generation 5G wireless networks.
