FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel outlines security policies to maintain U.S. dominance in 5G innovation

The Federal Communications Commission is making national security central to efforts on unleashing the power of fifth-generation networks, according to Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, who outlined her top ten areas of focus at a Tuesday event.

5G technology is laying the “foundation for digital transformation around the globe,” Rosenworcel said, but also reveals opportunities for “broader geopolitical challenges.”
