FCC’s Pai argues need to cleanse supply chain of Chinese equipment for network security

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai described steps the agency is taking to secure fifth-generation networks in an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations, arguing it’s “common sense” to start by purging the supply chain of suspect Chinese providers -- in the U.S. and across the globe.
