Ex-CISA official: Cyber spending must rise, but funding for government tech modernization is essential

Major investment in cybersecurity is a key component in the federal response to SolarWinds, but lawmakers should pay even more attention to providing appropriate funds to update legacy government information technology infrastructure, according to former CISA cyber leader Bryan Ware.
