European official warns: ‘Don’t hold your breath’ for Privacy Shield successor

Delivering a successor to the Privacy Shield framework is a “high priority” for both the U.S. and the European Union, but the complexity of the negotiations might stand in the way of a solution, according to European Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager.
