EU official urges U.S., Europeans to work together on ‘future standards’ for cyber, privacy

AUSTIN. A top European Union official urged the United States and the EU to work together on developing future regulations on privacy and on cybersecurity, while also discussing the General Data Protection Regulation's impact on industry, with a Google representative arguing that a more global approach to privacy is needed.
