Energy Dept. emphasizes transparency in applying FCC cyber label to solar tech, smart meters

Research underway at the Energy Department points to a need for the Federal Communications Commission’s cybersecurity labeling program to increase transparency by providing consumers with information about the security features of energy products, according to one of the national labs participating in the initiative.
