Energy Dept. cyber office director Evans sees ‘complementary’ relationship with DHS’ NPPD

Karen Evans, the recently confirmed director of the Department of Energy's new cybersecurity office, said Tuesday that she sees her office’s relationship with the Department of Homeland Security’s National Protection and Programs Directorate as being “complementary,” adding that any cyber programs she’s looking at will depend on the annual budget.

"I am an overachiever, and we want to make sure that this works so we can show them and the rest of the world that this can work,” Evans said...
