Energy Department issues final critical infrastructure reporting rule for electric sector

The Energy Department is taking action to harmonize its critical electric infrastructure information designations with existing regulations used by the Federal Regulatory Energy Commission, in a new final rule set into go into effect in mid-May that has the support of the electricity sector.
