Electric sector group offers NIST considerations around measurement, assessment for CSF 2.0 update

The Edison Electric Institute wants NIST to consider the “potential unintended consequences” of creating and incorporating metrics and measurements into the update to the cybersecurity framework, and asks for flexibility to address the multitude of stakeholder needs.

“As NIST develops resources for cybersecurity measurement and assessment, it should consider the organizational diversity of the CSF’s users and incorporate the flexibility necessary for a broad range of implementations,” EEI said in comments on the NIST CSF 2.0 concept paper.
