Edison Electric Institute pushes back against perceived negative impacts from FERC incentives proposal

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s plan to offer incentives to utilities that go beyond current reliability standards will have a positive impact, according to the Edison Electric Institute, which says the agency’s proposed rulemaking will not make it more attractive for utilities to cut corners elsewhere when it comes to security.
