Draft Trump order wins praise from cyber policy leaders for building on past progress

SAN FRANCISCO – Tech industry and former government officials here are expressing praise for the latest draft executive order leaked from the Trump administration, arguing the plan builds on the cybersecurity progress of the Bush and Obama administrations and preserves a key role for the Department of Homeland Security in protecting critical infrastructure, among other provisions.
