DOT releases automated vehicle guidance ‘3.0’ for comment, announces upcoming rulemakings

The Department of Transportation has released a new federal guidance for comment on “preparing for the future of transportation,” specifically focused on the safe integration of autonomous vehicles, while detailing upcoming rulemakings on self-driving vehicles being undertaken by DOT offices.
