DOJ’s Monaco urges industry attorneys to help advance collaboration against ransomware threat

Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said breaking down barriers to collaboration with industry is a top Justice Department priority in the fight against ransomware, while urging private-sector attorneys to discuss the benefits of working with federal officials to bolster cybersecurity and respond to incidents, and in some cases to avoid potential liability.
