DOE issues request for feedback on cybersecurity maturity model update released in July

The Department of Energy is seeking industry input on version 2.0 of its cybersecurity capability maturity model, known as C2M2, a voluntary tool for the energy sector that the department is also promoting for use by other industries under a Biden administration initiative to secure industrial control systems.

DOE on Nov. 24 issued a request for information on C2M2 2.0, which was released in July, with a Dec. 27 comment deadline.
