DHS says draft critical functions are already guiding efforts; work continues in compiling list

The Department of Homeland Security is already using a draft set of critical functions to guide risk-management activities, even while a review of a recent version of the document indicates significant work remains for compiling a list of the nation's most vulnerable and crucial operations in advance of its public release by the end of April.
