DHS to examine ‘national critical functions,’ perhaps leading to government-industry response plan

The Department of Homeland Security is in the process of “taking a step back” and examining “national critical functions” that would be most impacted by a major cyber attack, with the potential for developing a comprehensive response plan for both government and industry, according to senior DHS cyber official Jeanette Manfra.
