DHS election-security efforts offer cybersecurity lessons for all industry sectors

Election security has emerged as a top policy priority for DHS' Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and as the new agency builds on its efforts in the 2018 midterms and ramps up for the 2020 presidential elections, the policy structures put in place with the private sector, Defense Department and other federal agencies can have a carryover effect for securing the nation's critical functions.
